Hi, can anyone direct me to where I can find step by step guide to replacing offside front indicator bulb. I believe its not a simple case of popping in a new bulb, or is it?
Thanks

There is this 'How to' on Xoutpost, it might help you out......and no it isn't a simple job. Why do manufacturers make simple jobs more tricky?

Have to say, if you have smaller hands it does help. I got to mine within a 10 minute turn around but as X5Sport says - ridiculous design.
Oh and if you have a facelift E53 they have a larger mount on the back of the bulb socket to grab (slightly easier to twist and unlock).

I did mine the same.
Marked the bolt positions with paint stick, move headlight out by about 3 cm or so until it hits the headlight sprayers, then remove bulb from the side.
Make sure you get the right bulb though, my dealer provided 3 bulbs in the end (third time lucky).
