air bag light on

Post by ozzyhufc » Sat Mar 19, 2011 3:22 pm

I had a new unit fitting in my x5 and the speakers would not work, so bloke wire straight to all speakers for me but when he put all door panals back on and started my x5 the airbag light stays on how can i knock it of without going to bmw as they say £100 to reset thats a joke.

I have reset airbag lights on other models using diagnostic software on my laptop, though I have yet to do this on an X5.
I got my diagnostic software on eBay, here is a link, I hope it helps.

8-) yes I did hear something about a meet, may be it's an all-dayer, never known it so quiet on a Saturday.
