Can't stop the top connection weeping, minor but weeping. Put in a new "0" ring on pipe, no joy. Replaced the whole pipe which included another new "O" ring, no joy. Any suggestions on how to fatten up the connection on the thermostat or would a liberal dose of RTV work??

Diesel and petrol if you look inside your engine bay it is immediately above the g/b oil cooler, one coolant pipe comes from the bottom of the radiator (opposite side)and the other up to the pipe to the thermostat. It's job in life is to control the coolant temp to the g/b oil cooler, opens at 82 degrees C
