High Mileage - OK or not?

I'm currently looking at a 2014 X3 2.0lt diesel auto with 95k on it, there is a full dealer service history but not knowing these vehicles I would like to know if 95k is too high and maybe will start to give problems in the near future. We would only be putting approx. 5k per year on it with normal town driving...

As a person who has many high mileage cars I would say they are Ok as long as they have been maintained regularly and show no signs of abuse. I.e. poor paintwork, cheap tyres indicating that the owner has not invested in the vehicle.
I have owned cars from 100k plus and easily put 50k on them. Given the high miles as long as your can get the car for a good price you should be ok. A dealer would shift the car to auction and theilre are fees involved so see what you can squeeze from them.

Even try to get a free service. Every little helps.

i bought my mrs a 2012 x35d m sport in october 2017 with 76k its got full bmw service history and i had every possible serviceble item done on it when we bought it, looking at the service book it did 20k in the first 9 months of its life, extremely well maintained except  kerbing to wheels and roof moulding where previous owner had roof rack fitted all of which i have had done for less than £300 by a paint shop, drives better than my sisters 2015 x5 30d  :)

Definitely ok especially at 4 years old. Modern diesels designed to last.
Great cars, great engines. Love my X3! :)
