im looking at some aftermarket wheels but where can i get tpms from to fit to them, i will be selling my 19" m sport alloys afterwards if anyone is interested

Have a look at Realoem for the part numbers then do a web search.  Realoem is the current (Feb 2018] BMW Parts Database on line.  Use the last 7 characters of your VIN to pull up the right car model and work from there

which wheels did you go for

didnt bother in the end kept the old 19" m sports and put new non run flat pirelli p zero tyres on now looking to get them refurbed  ::)

Hi just wondering what was the reason you went for non run flats? Was it just ride quality. I need to replace my 19inch tyres soon

yes every bmw we have ever owned we change to non run flats, the re enforced sides send any pot hole hit through the wheel and suspension rather than the tyre soaking up part of it, this creates a much smoother ride they are also cheaper and can be repaired , i know you can repair run flats aslong as you havnt driven far on them flat but most places will point blank refuse to repair, at the end of the day if you get a puncture either have the tyre goo at the ready or stop and and get a mobile tyre man out to do repair cheaper than a new run flat at over £200 each

was planning to ditch the the run-flats when I swap 19's for 20's, although i'm sure 20's on non run-flats will feel pretty much the same as 19's on run-flats ..... might look at aftermarket Spring & shock setup

non run flats will feel better no matter what size 

Did you bother with going down the bmw star approved tyre route or did you put anything?

no pirelli p zero nero all round A and AA rated, always liked pirelli so stuck with them

I changed the summers from Pirelli P zero runflats to Pirelli Rosso P zeros (non rft). The difference is amazing in ride and tyre roar. Did the same on my previous 5 series, so much like the OP prefer non rft's
For winter, bought a second hand set and asked bmw to supply/fit the TPMS . Those are 17's with Pirelli sottozero 2's (rft)
The bigger sidewall and smaller width make for comfortable winter driving.
