Sorry if you have already seen this post 3-4 times but there has been a problem as i can not view my posts  :o but all sorted now.... i hope  :)) here goes...

Hi peeps
So after 2 weeks of owning my e83 there was an issue with the drivers headlight it was out of line so i got it sent back to the garage and had them fix it.

40miles home i notice that my headlight self level and my headlight adustemt has stopped working on the same light that has been messed with. Im hoping that its just a wire thats been missed because it was working fine before but i dont know what to look for can somone please point me into the right direction of where the harness comes from/goes into the light?

Many thanks.

Do any of your headlights adjust with the dial by your light switch?
When you first turn them on do they go up, down and then settle?

They did do before the garage had it to re fit the headlight. Then when it came back the side in question does nothing on both start up and dial.

Passenger side works fine on both start up and dial  :o

Have you removed the washer bottle and checked the plug is firmly attached to the headlight? I would remove plug and refit as first port of call.

First you need to get a 10mm socket to remove washer bottle

Then remove plug from back

Then check the pins
