Post by Skywalker123 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 11:37 pm

Hi all, new to the forum. Just put a deposit on my first x5. 2011(61) E70 facelift xdrive 30d M Sport. As car is 2nd hand still working out what is standard and what is optional but from what I know. Grey with black leather 58k miles. Pro sat nav (Bluetooth HDD, usb etc) Tinted rear windows. Heated and electric memory front sports seats. 5+2 seating. Xenon lights & lighting pack. 20” alloys. M Sport steering wheel with paddles. M sport pack extras. Test drove today and it was beautiful. Hopefully picking up tomorrow or Wednesday. Any tips for a newbie welcome

If you can get hold of the last 7 characters of the VIN then use one of the BMW vin decoders on line, you should get the build spec ‘as built’ and you’ll see what the car was built with.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Congrats on your new E70 and look forward to pics in due course.

Do a search on here as there is a sticky post which gives you the BMW vin coder or do a search on google I found www.bmwvin.com which does the same and enter the 7 digits of you vin and it will give you the full spec of your car
