Managed to get some piano black trims from eBay for £130!





Little bit of hand polishing and they’re as good as new.

Are these a nightmare to change?  How many hours are we talking about?

Nice job on the trims what polish did you use?

And I would guestimate a good few hours depending on how easy the trims come out

I used 3M machine polish first, then 12000 finesse, then 3M ultrafina SE.
All done by hand.

Looks nice, good results! I have exactly the same set sat in my garage waiting to be fitted but not loving the thought of pulling it all apart. Have emailed a couple of trimmers/coach builders for a quote to remove and replace it for me.

Thanks for the kind offer, I do come up now and again so that could be an option. Have you fitted yours yet, would love to see some pics of it fitted?

I have the alu trim at present but think the piano will totally transform the interior ambience of the car, I might be wrong but just get that feeling.

Perhaps you could PM whereabouts in London you are, maybe we can sort something out?

This is very nice, I imagine it's difficult to find!

There is a dark bamboo wood shifter, that I have been trying to look for, very difficult and haven't found one as of yet.

I only got the car back from Sytner Nottigham on Friday afternoon they had It three weeks. I’ve fitted the dash trims and the center console trims they look amazing compared to the brushed aluminium. I’m going to wait to do the door cards until I start my audio installation.
