Newbie Alert!

Hello all,

I'm new to xdrivers so thought I'd say hello.
I'm a long term BMW addict but never took the plunge on an X5 yet. I came close last year but bought a 525i Touring instead.
I'm now hunting for an X5 and have found a couple which are very nice but I need to get an understanding of the gremlins which face them (both are c. 70k miles).

Rather than peppering the forum with questions I'll start doing some searches!

It is indeed. I have a deposit down on a 06 e53 with 70k miles on it. It has extended leather, panoramic roof, comms pack, heated seats, individual grey paint.
It's getting an insp II, the wheels refurbed and a few bits and pieces before I pick it up next week.
I can't wait to get it.

Very nice looking car. Not seen the Individual Grey before. I was always wary of Cream leather (our E53 is black nappa) but I know have it in my X6 and it actually lifts the interior nicely.

Hi & welcome aboard John Thats a fine 'X' you have bought yourself It's a Exclusive Edition and the colour is called Stratus Grey, interior is Ecru Individual Nappa. More details on this model in AW8's buyers guide
