Just got home from work to find a pool of disel under my car. Appears to have come from the small Webasto heater exhaust under the car. The plastics around it are wet with diesel.

Had a search and not found anything similar. Is this a common issue? Can I just bypass the fuel supply to the heater, i'm assuming there is some sort of internal leak. I have recently changed my diesel filter under the bonnet.

sounds like unburnt fuel is getting pumped through the heater, if its not firing up that may happen until the unit shuts down.
if you only noticed this with the cold weather then thats when the heater is supposed to kick in.
At least you know the fuel pumps working and its going through the motions,  may need a glow pin,

Just pull the connectors of the top of the heater so it cant send a message to the pump to start or remove the Webasto fuse.
