Big Feet & Driving Shoes

A little off the wall, but I'll ask anyway as some of you may have done a bit of MotorSport in the past.
I'm trying to get around a problem I have with most cars in that I have big & wide feet (no remarks please!! - not that any plea for clemency will make any difference with you folks ) and I tend to catch the brake pedal slightly when I actually want to accelerate. It seems to be more prevalent in the X6 and given that car has powerful brakes does cause a bit of a jerk when I do it. Makes me feel like a jerk too...
So I thought I would try to find some Driving Boots/Shoes which have narrow soles and are therefore less likely to catch another pedal. I need to find UK size 14 or 14.5, and therein lies the issue. I've tried all the usual offenders like Puma, Sparco, Adidas, Alpinestars and a few others but they don't go above UK 13, which though long enough are not wide enough.
Do any of you know any other manufacturers who make decent shoes/boots that might be suitable? I've come across Piloti which look good but I know nothing about them for quality.
Any helpful tips gratefully received. Suggestions for snow shoes, skis, amputations or giving the X6 away will be ignored....
