Went to look at another X5 last Thursday as some know. Got great deal on X1 but had to pick up next day due to figures for end of month i guess ? Have had a few niggles but with some great help and advice from X5 Sport all is pretty much sorted now.!
Main concern was they forgot to put an oil service on the I-Drive but dealer where serviced confirmed today it did have its oil service and other bits.
Will try get some pics up soon but i have to say what an amazing car with some great extras.!
One great one is the pan roof but was slightly disappointed when sales guy said you can only retract and not tilt ?? When playing with the I-Drive yesterday and looking at the picture help gizmo on there, i actually found out it does tilt and both bits of glass. Wonder if any one else out there didn't realize this ??
Also trying for new 20" Alloys as they are corroding around center caps and valve area but with car being 29 months im hoping BMW play ball.
Will post more in coming weeks and be asking some questions ::)

Quick update on my F15. Had few little problems when i got this X5, to be fair i'm sure most folk will find something wrong with a 2 and half year car but now's the time to get it put right at dealers expense rather than mine later's but just wondered what you guys would off done and thoughts ??
1. 20" ALLOYS CORRODED SLIGHTLY, very common problem but didn't realise it was on the F15's. I only noticed when i was looking at tyre depth on the front edges on hand over but was told they would get them changed as car is under warranty with BMW still.! Few weeks later i went back in for them to be looked at. They have to take photos off the wheels and send them to BMW. Then i was told that BMW would not cover them as they had been refurbished on edges. As you can imagine i was not happy and said i need to speak to the used car manager that promised me new ones. After he said he was surprised and probably thought it would be, i said i will give them the car back as i have only had it 2 weeks.....Then shock horror...no sir i promised new ones so i will honor it lol.... Funny thing then was i then had to wait another hour and half and later found out they was pushing BMW now for new ones as they were mainly corroded in the middle, amazing what they do when its at there expense lol
Anyway the plot thickens.!! Last week car goes in to have new wheels on. The day before i rang to check everything was still ok and was told, NO sir we told you that BMW wouldn't replace them... then oh sorry sir yes we giving you some off another car.! I said they better be off a new car to which they said they was but my old tyres would be going back on which i didn't mind as there pretty good tyres tbh.
When go back later to pick up, i found my car and had a good look at the wheels to see there were brand new with brand new tyres also which i thought was very good off them as i did have another issue which i will get to after this.! When picking up keys and about to leave, i said it was a very nice gesture off them giving me new tyres..!! ME AND MY BIG GOB..!! After someone over heard i was told i couldn't take car as it should of had my old tyres on...AARRRGGGHHHHH. Anyway they said it be about 2 hours to which they said they would bring car back to my house which they did but you could tell they rushed (Fri Afternoon late) and never even cleaned the mess around the alloys, so not to happy but i gave it good clean at weekend.
2 Other problem which has annoyed me also is that the car had a big service last year and they forgot to put it on the I-DRIVE service history. Only after speaking to BMW and was told where it was serviced, i rang up for them to confirm this and i now have it all on paper. Obviously i like the idea of this instead off the service book but now feel this might be a problem later on if i try sell car private or PX at a non BMW garage.! I no they can ring up like me but feel its not good when trying to sell a car.!
Anyway despite all this, the car is absolutely brilliant and drives very well. Love the Pan roof now i found out how to tilt it after being told it only slides lol and the heads up is great especially when sat nav is on.
Just wondered what you guys think and what you would of done ? By the way this was an BMW approved car.

Hi Mark I'm pleased you got everything sorted.
These garages should really have all these problems sorted out before collection day,as none of us want to pick our new car up with faults and have to sort it out at a later day.
Anyway hopefully you can enjoy the car now
