Headlamp Adjustment

I’m taking my X5 over to Holland soon and can’t see anything in the manual that covers adjusting the headlamps from RHD to LHD settings.

Does anyone know whether this is still necessary with the adaptive xenon headlights ?  Also, does the SatNav come with European maps by default or do we just have UK?  I’ve got a 2014 30d.

I think you’ll find it’s done via the iDrive menu.

Go to the lights option and within that there’s an option for LHD or RHD and from memory it’s something you have to do with the ignition on (note, not engine running) and whilst stationary.

Pretty sure that’s the answer

Map in UK cars is typically Europe rather than just UK.  Not seen UK only since the Mk3 drive back in the noughties
