Folding mirrors

The mirrors on my X5 fold in when I press the button on the drivers door. Can I get them to fold in automatically when the car is locked and unfold when the car is unlocked? The car is booked in later this week at an Indy for a service and brake fluid change and I wondered if they could get the mirrors to do what I want.

Yes
Hold the lock button for circa 3 seconds, they should fold in and unfold when unlocked

Hi my mirrors only fold in using the button next to the window controls.
Would love them to fold on lock too.

Just tried that and the mirrors don't move so it looks like some coding is required. Do you think an indy would be able to do this?

To be honest, for the price of coding you could get yourself a Carly dongle
