Anyone know the difference?
My computer says I need an inspection now and a check in 2020
BMW website has a price for a Vehicle check at £41 but no reference to inspection at all?

What, Inspection? Really?
MOT is up to date but a friends garage did it so if there was a computer reset needed they wouldn't have known.

Really. Yes it needs resetting every year. My display even shows when it's due.

You can reset the MOT / inspection date yourself by going into the service info menu on your IDrive.
It doesn't need to be reset using any software/ diognostics.
Sure there will be a how to do on YouTube. Have you got CCC or CIC IDrive?
Just re read your post. X3 F25 will be CIC.
This will give you an idea of how to reset/ gain access to the service / inspection menus

I'd only want to reset it if it relates to the MOT. If it needs a service it needs a service.
