'Nice' cosmetic upgrades

Hi all,
Has anyone done any upgrades to their car to improve it cosmetically?
I know that there are some things you can do very easily and parts are easy to find e.g. Silver grill, tints. But, there are things that can be fitted that are very different. Some of them being illuminated door sills, matching wooden inserts on the steering wheel, matching wooden gear stick (these do exist). Other things such as LED turn signals front and back, projectors under the doors projecting the logo onto the ground, LED interior lights etc have been done as well by some. Is there anyone on here who have done these or are they too tacky for us all who remain in Blighty?

Hi Nehal I swapped the door lights for the m performance logo, they don't look tacky actually looks quite good.
They are tight little buggars to fit but well worth it £20 for 4

I fitted stainless headlight protector grilles, and numerous others, see my list at base of this post.

Hi,
Where exactly do they fit? In the door handle light or the puddle light?

I fitted puddle lights but the graphics faded quickly and looked pants waste of cash. Went back to standard with upgraded leds everywhere.

Do the LED's 'fade in' and 'fade out' when the car is unlocked and locked? Or is it just 'on' or 'off' with these?

Personally I would just go with bright LED puddle lights. There is a kit available that provides all the lights you need to swap over. I did it with my last car and prefered the bright white look. The only issue I had was the rear number plate lights...i found that the LED bulbs kept on being dislodged when going over speedbumps which caused them to flicker.

BMW offer an official kit. Have a look on Realoem for details.

Just had a look thanks.
Although I think I prefer this version better, in terms of how it looks!
The lights replacing the fin of the intake.
