Hi Guys
Been lurking and good to see the site is really on line now
Are we going to meet up and have a beer or what? Seems like ages since PVR and I thrashed you when we went karting.........
It will also give me an opportunity to show you my new toy (a proper sports car 535Dboymanlincolnpuff
) I couldn't look at my empty garage any more, drive an L200 all day work my balls off and not have some fun at the weekends........
Drop me a line, you've got my phone and email details

Now that is nice ..
We could meet up for dinner again in the same location as last time? (Not the curry place, the one on the Lewes road).

Would be good to meet - work will calm down end of March for me.
Where's bacon boy gone?
Karting or meal? I'm up for either.

I did reply ...
Mogsy - did Mrs Mogsy allow you to buy this car as a reward for the two-bricks job?

No.
I came home and told her I bought it, by which time it was too late for her to argue

You'll only use your weight after you've eaten as an excuse why you're so slow

Glad you didn't buy a flash car & post on hear bold as brass showing it off. You really are a tart - anyway glad to see you are okay & in troubled times
Congrat's on 911. I doubt you'd trust me with the keys but I'd love a sensible drive in one. 996 C2 quite simply the most enjoyable car I have ever piloted. 997 CS2 the choice of the Hamster & the Spaniel but you knew that. In abscence of a drive I'd be happy for a demo - if you have your own booster seat
Trust the "pastry locksmith" wagon still running & X3 going strong. Maybe post odd X3 comments if inclined. I hope you got rid of the 535d before it blew up!
Meet 3rd weekend in March in Bristol - Kart's by day & food/drink by night. This overnighter, courtesey of our host Shep. I suspect you won't have a leave pass or will be scrounging lunch at a motorsport corporate but it would be good to see you. Fair old trip but myself & pvr looking forward to this. 535dboy & chompers not stated they're attending but it would be good to see them there.....Looking forward to meeting old names & new faces.
Meet up ok in principal if wallet & sanity hold up in light of renting far longer than planned.
Speak soon

Mogsy - if you did not manage to stay awake throughout AW8's dribble, the summary was that he would join

Indirect feedback taken as gift...Shamefully edited into slightly more concise format, albeit I have a long way to go to master your pigeon English brevity

Hello AW8
Good to see your grasp of the English language has improved
Work is fine - some months are better than others but we're holding our own. I'm actually more concerned about the world in general and fear we are heading into unchartered territory (although the human race has always found a way to live through the worst shit the world can throw at it!). If the shit hits the fan in a big way in the Middle East we're in for a rough ride
So, your answer to a meet is yes I guess?
I'm busy this entire month with little time off but looking good for April - let's get something arranged ASAP and in the diary.
Have you moved yet or are you still a gypo roaming around fields near Goodwood in the hope of LM offering you permanent residency in a dark corner on the estate?
I haven't posted anything about the X3 (this is an X5 site!)! It's got 22,000 completely trouble free miles on it now. I really don't know why it's knocked by some quarters as it does the job very well and makes for a good family car. I think we may go X5 when we change it, but Mrs. M still thinks they are too big and driven by people with a small 'cough cough'
(she should know that I've owned a couple and that clearly isn't the case
)
I managed to get rid of the 535D before the big bang
It really was a great car and superb allrounder and I miss the gazzillions of NM of torque when you put your foot down. Still, it was time to move on and take a break before getting something else.
Look forward to speaking soon and remember as one of your great leaders used to say 'Let's be careful out there'.............
