Hi everyone, i have finally put a deposit on a 64000 miles car with only 1 owner

I viewed 4 in total, and although this is the lesser spec of them all its so clean inside and underneath so i jumped on it.

I wanted 7 seats for kids and family travels and future resale value, also wanted the 35d engine as it has to be fun and a blast to drive.

I first viewed one in Birmingham, Monaco blue but was so tatty inside out, had 93,000 miles and two owners. Service History, interior trim was in rough shape.

2nd was in Peterboroughin Carbon Black, 84000 miles better bodywork but not perfect, this one just felt low in power and had an oily underside so i walked away, also aluminium trims were pecked to death, rear seats were scratched, boot cover missing, ac warm etc etc...

3rd one was in Mossley Manchester, and had the most toys, 89000 miles auto boot open close door handle lights, folding mirrors. 88000 miles, interior had some burn marks in the centre console, and again oily underneath, drove well, bodywork was ok.

Finally Canterbury,
1 owner 64000 miles full Bmw Service History, and interior spotless, and lovely dark bamboo trim, chunky Msport steering. this was the cleanest so i decided to go for it. As hard to find a low mileage one at a my budget. Spotless underneath

Anyway hope to pic up nxt week. :), awaiting new tyres and service

Welcome, astonishing GTR there :o

Also, you seem to have the same car as us! We did do a search, went to view an older one but it put us off. Then saw a very very high spec one but it didn't drive too well and also seemed to hesitate to start up, which was a disappointment, then finally settled on one bought off pistonheads, was a good choice as the owner gave warranty over to us. A good search gets a good buy.

Congrats

If you don't mind me asking how much was it and the others

I have a highly spec 3.0sd/ 35d 7 seater 58 plate near 100k, so curious on the market

Also are you based anywhere near Bristol, as my other car is also a white jdm motor, but not as hardcore; integra ;)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It looks like you found a very nice 35d and as you say a lot are far from perfect and you do have to view a lot as the pics don't really show the real story with a car.

I also like your weekend toy very cool and looking at it it's has some nice mods to it  :)
