333 style 20 inch wheels.

I've narrowed it to 2 main options which are powder coat.
Wheels refurbd at least once prior to buying. Diamond cut is nice but simply doesn't last

Left is flash chrome. Black base
Right  is chrome
2nd is my current wheelfor reference
3rd is blackchrome

Which do you like?

comments or other suggestions welcome.

Chrome is a bit bling for my tastes.
Flash chrome I like but I don't think they can get good clean spray lines
The third option is looking most likely as it's a single colour.

Thanks JohnImageImage

Black and chrome look nice but I personally would need to see them on the car

Here they are.  It's black chrome which blends from chrome on the wheel face to black on the rear.  They are flawless and I think look brill.

The change of the rear tyres to matching continental s with lots of tread has also cured  a 'just before you stop  judder ' . The diff clearly didn't like full tread front contis and rear Michelin 3mm left.  Even though both are star rated.Image

Had the judder lurch on my X3 when I drove it home from buying it. Changed the tyres, job sorted.
Loooks like unevenly worn / different makes of * rated tyres can be problematic on the e70, especially LCI models with the new transfer box.
This along with prop shaft issues doesn't bode well with potential future purchasers like myself.

I have seen mention of something like a 1 - 1.5% variation limit front/rear being the point beyond which the transmission starts throwing a hissy fit.  Dreadful really on a car of this type.  Having had an AWD Mini and a 4x4 Škoda which don't care about tyres I think BMW have got something very wrong here.

Oh and the wheels look good  :D

When you say 1 -1.5% variation do you mean tread depth?Or rolling circumference? Or did you mean 1-1.5mm tread?

Circumference.  Someone on here reported a non '*' rated staggered set having a difference at new of 32mm and this was causing unpleasant noises in the transmission.
