Hi I have a F25 X3 but mine does not have sat nav has any one got any ideas how much this would be to get put in I have seen the screens on e-bay but mine has got all that with the I-drive as well but the sat nav button on the I Drive does nothing, I have spoke to BMW but mine did not have it factory fitted, is it an easy addition or is it half the dash out. it seems a shame as I have got the adaptive drive and lots of other bits but just wish it had this extra I am based in Nottinghamshire and any help would be great so I don't have to listen to the wife reading a map !!!

BMW do not offer a retrofit kit for that so they won't help you.  If there was a kit expect it to be more expensive than having it when factory built!  Manufacturers are making it more and more difficult to add things in later.

You will probably do just as well fitting a modern Garmin or similar system.  Lifetime free maps and better options than the OEM system.

Second hand hardware is around £500 for the display and controller but you will need the GPS receiver and other bits to detect motion and direction of travel in the event of GPS signal lock.  You will also need the enabling key (FSC KEY) from BMW, who may well not supply it given the car is not equipped with Nav.

That looks like a good deal, and a lot less than BMW might have charged!  Still 3x a good Garmin though  :)
