Don't know if anyone else has had this but I have a hot spot on my passenger seat the extendable section at the front, its about 10p in size and gets hot to touch so much so it has started to discolour the leather (Cream). Any ideas? is it easy to strip down, something must be shorting out in there, I suppose I will have to take it apart and see whats happening :headbang:

Sounds like an issue with the seat heating system. And that is a pain to fix!! Have a look on the web for this little 'challenge' as it seems to happen quite frequently. You might need to replace part of the seat facings. Pull the fuse for now to stop any use of it.

Sounds like maybe there is damage to the heating wires in the seat. Being at the front of the seat in the leg support can be the reason for this as there is more localised pressure under the legs than there is under your bum. Over a period of time the fibres / cores in the wire deteriorate and break causing higher resistance on the remaining / contacting cores thus creating your heat spot.

I'm not sure if you can buy the leg support with the heating element separate or if the heating element can be detached from the main seat heating?
