Rear entertainment headphones

Post by Eagles21 » Sat Jun 24, 2017 9:06 am

Hi all, I have a 2010 model E70 with the rear entertainment system and I have 3 young children. Does any body know if I can link 3 pairs of headphones wirelessly to the car (there's only 2 headphone jacks)?
If it is possible what type of headphones should I be looking for, is it Bluetooth or infrared or something (I'm not great with technology obviously

Look at Realoem to find the OEM Part number and do a search on line to find it cheaper, or an equivalent.  I thought that they were IR?

Hi,i have two sets in mine, they are infrared, dont know if they will take three sets it depends how the system works if the screen is sending out a signal then three headsets would probably work, but if the receiver is in the screen i dont think it will take more than two sets, hope this helps.

For those that may be interested, I bought 3 pairs of IR headphones from eBay and they all instantly connected to the IR transmitter in the car
