Hi all, bmw 140 code reader problems

I got a bmw code reader from ebay, but cannot ger it to run, can't install the drivers.

It's a common problem, Scanner 1.4.0 won't work on 64 bit systems, and is a mare to get to work on most computers, its easiest on win XP but still a faff to load the drivers.
Use the search button on the forum to get more info.

I e got the software on my old computer at home, but I gave my scanner hardware away when I sold my E53. !!!!
If anyone has the hardware sitting in a drawer, and can't get it to work on their computer. Please donate it to me, as it will work on my X3
