Mud flaps

For long enough, I've looked at & liked the flaps on the E70
I think they compliment the lines, moreso the rear end and view from the rear.
The look finally got the better of me and a set of OEM flaps were fitted
I think, they change the look, more form over function as they should reduce the rear door stone chipping.
Ps - they were fitted in the rain.

I had the factory ones out on my X6 and have no regrets. So far the only 'challenge' is that I have a broken plastic rivet on a front one and BMW only provide them with the flaps, not available separately!

You can get the plastic rivets from eBay, the rivet type admittedly are dire, when I fitted towbar, I removed the arches to clean under the panels, initially used eBay items with correct tool, very poor quality, which was replaced with BMW items.
Though the pop stud for the flaps may be better.

I'm also looking for mudflaps but everything I find on ebay doesn't fit the m sport body. Not keen to pay dealer prices so I'd appreciate any pointers on where to buy.
Picking up on the last post, The second is towbars. Is there a guide on how to fit anywhere?

I searched for some time for mudflaps outwith the dealer supplier, there is a Chinese spin off, however they are shorter and don't look right on the m sport body, more suited to SE
I used Ed @ Cotswold (forum sponsor) to supply and receive a generous discount in comparison to the e Bay offerings
Re the towbar, there is several guides on YouTube, though these are for the SE bumpers
I have the BMW instructions somewhere,
I used PF Jones to supply the towbar, their website has fitting instructions, although they appear vague until the bumper is removed.....
PF Johns also have the wiring schematics and again worth reading several times as many pages have no relevance.
A relatively simple job if your handy with tools, I done mine in circa 3 hours, allbeit that was with first fix electrics, once proven I redid the electrics and soldered all joints, ( on the Lci, all terminations are in the boot)
