Hi all , father looking at trading his 520i in for a diesel 530d m sport on a 55 plate from BMW, we need to know though what the media pack includes?? Does this mean it has sat nav, voice activation and Bluetooth??? Only reason I ask is he has narrowed it down to two cars, one from BMW park lane in London who will deliver the car and has media pack, and other from car shop in Cardiff with 10,000 miles more but £2000 cheaper and this has media pack also but states it has Bluetooth also.....does any one know what the media pack on that shape 5 series includes??? It's the e60 I think

my 535d on same year had media and comms pack. I thought comms pack was Bluetooth and voice control?

Media was pro sat nav, cd changer & Bluetooth phone. Voice activation was included at some point but not sure when-not sure it is that good anyway

So you are saying that media pack includes Bluetooth yes??? This is helpful guys, appreciate it. so it's not like voice activation on the x5 now?? Which is great for dialling phone numbers etc. Or is it only Bluetooth on comms pack?? Definitely??

Did they also offer tv on these models?? Ie freeview?? If so is that on media pack???

If still in doubt call the BMW customer service number car info number and quote reg &/or ideally VIN - make sure you have a pen handy to note exact spec. Not certain but pretty sure they will be able to list all option numbers & items rather than just saying it hads media pack.

well he has ended up buying the 530d m sport from park lane london. Got an excellent price from them in the end, carbon black, prof sat nav, bluetooth, voice act, 47000 miles, delivered.

My old 535 was remapped by dms

No issues

anyone know what you need to activate voice activation on an e60???
