I have been trawling through the internet to find a decent way of connecting my iPhone to the X5 i am buying just wondering if anyone has one of these docks or if anyone knows it would fit a UK car. Not sure if they would do it for right hand drive cars or if the ashtray insert is the same for LHD and RHD ??? being that its an american company.

Ive been wanting one of these for ages but simply can't justify the cost.

Looks neat and well priced. I wouldn't have thought that LHD/RHD is an issue - I think the ashtray is a standard piece in the middle.
I have the intravee/Alpine 420 set up which works well although not such a nice custom fit as this.

The 2point5 spec dock is just a dock, nothing else, you need to connect something else to it and your car to provide an interface, DICE, Dension Gateway, Intravee/KCA-420i etc.
