First BMW is an X3

Hello all. We've recently returned from Canada and as the missus has become accustomed to driving North American vehicles, she wanted an automatic with a higher driving position. I know what side my bread's buttered so I managed to find a 2006 X3 3.0d with 60k on the clock in almost mint condition. Our first BMW and I'm hooked. So much so that, as we'll be needing a second car soon, I'm looking for a 318d or 320d. Just one thing I'd like to ask - how dusty are BMW brake pads???

Pagid pads are OEM, I've found them ok,  it have recently purchase an X3 myself and whatever pads are fitted are very dusty indeed, and I had to strip and clean out the brakes after I bought her to stop the squeaking.
Are you suffering with dusty wheels?
And by the way. Welcome to the forum

Thanks. Yes, I feel like I'm cleaning the wheels every other day. Still,it gives me an excuse to wash and polish the car, lol! I was thinking of maybe looking at ceramic pads when it's time to change. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have non OEM pads on there.  I have never found Pagid to be dusty on any of mine.
