Hi All,

I am new to the forum, I am currently purchasing a 4.8is X5 (just awaiting the money from the bank).

The one I am buying has the sat nav etc. I have been looking on the internet at iphone 4 connection so that I can use the phone through the car, whilst charging it and able to play music. I havent found any clear way of doing it and spoke to my local BMW dealer who was as useful as a chocolate teapot lol.

Just wondering if any of you guys could help.

With regards to the iPhone4 connection I use the Bluetooth
In the car for phone calls have an aux in socket for music.

I'm sure other people will come up with other suggestions

Yeah I will post some pics up once I have collected it, its Le Mans blue with black leather.

Ok thanks, have been looking on bavariansoundwerks.com and looking at the units on there but not sure if they would work on a UK car as they are from america. I like the ashtray dock they sell on there though.

Whats "aux in socket for music" ? I have the iphone 4 and am looking to play my music in the car through it. Thanks
