2014 F15 Warranty Extension

My 2014 30D will be 3 years old next month and I want to extend the warranty for a further 12 months. When I asked the main dealer, they were unable (or unwilling to help) stating that I'd receive an invitation in the post.
As there are a few of us now getting to the 3 year mark, has anyone else extended the manufacturer warranty ? I'm not really interested in Warrantywise and the other 3rd party stuff.

Assuming the supplying Dealer has not gone bust, then BMW GB will write to you a few weeks before the original warranty expires. You can also ring BMW GB about it.
You will be looking at an annual premium well above £1,000 a year, or you can pay it by auto-renewing Direct Debit. The latter keeps the cost the same every year as long as a Insurance Tax doesn't rise.
You can reduce the annual premium if you accept a bigger excess.
I keep the BMW Warranty running on my X6 after a bad experience with Warranty Direct. Reading the fine print is key as things come off cover as the age and mileage increase. Most aftermarket warranties will not cover diagnostics - and at £200 an hour for BMW that can be expensive!

Yip I was quoted £1250 from Bmw but at my peril I decided not to renew as the dealer suggested they would carry out three repairs with a contribution of £250 from me on each occasion

I am in the same position (2014 F15 coming up to 3 years in June). I renewed it last week and was surprised at the quote which came in under what I expected: £850 for 12 months full comprehensive cover + emergency assistance (with £250 excess). I think it does depend on your mileage too (mine has 31k).
You can find all the details here without having to wait for anything direct from BMW:

Agree with all the previous comments, the cover is parts + labour so well worth the money with BMW's prices!

I reckon mine will only be on 12-13k so £850 doesn't sound a bad price. I'll probably get rid in 2018 when the new Defender comes out.
