Luggage cover

When I bought my car the retractable cover for the boot was missing. I am looking for a replacement and was wondering if the parcel shelf is common to all models? (I know there are two styles one with the load guard net and one without). My car has the extra row of seats so just want to make sure that the cover wasn't different in anyway to the cars with 2 rows before i hit Ebay

Cheers

Martin

Suggests there's only two types available in different colours

Look under vehicle trim

The luggage net will be superfluous unless you also have the anchor points in the ceiling

I've actually taken mine out and not really used it but keeping it

From memory there will only be one retractable type and also from memory it had a net to go up, I assume it's for when loading items when the retractable can't be used and is a safety measure to ensue in the case of accident items don't come flying to the passengers and drivers

Thanks guys I have taken the plunge and have one on the way.
I thought I had found one at the end of last week but when the guy can around with it it was about 2 inches too wide even though he was convinced it was for a E70.
Unfortunately I don't have the fixing points for the net in the roof which is a bummer as every touring BMW I've owned in the past has had these. So I've gone for a standard cover and now need to find some sort of dog guard to keep my two mad mutts contained.

I bought a dog guard for my E70 from
Cotswold Hereford
Telephone Number: 01432 375555
I emailed them on partshereford@cotswoldgroup.com, giving them my VIN number.

It is secured by fitting over the lugs that hold the rear seat back in place. Its solid and doesnt waste boot space in the way some of the cheaper ones do. It cost £133.40 at the time (which was March 2013).
Not sure how it would work with the 7 seater as youd presumably want to remove it every time you used the 3rd row? Otherwise your last 2 passengers would be behind bars! Removal isnt hard, but it doesnt just slip off, you have to remove a couple of bolts from the construction.
