Pricing help please.

Due to having to drive a lot further for work, I've reluctantly bitten the bullet and bought an economical diesel.  So I'm going to be putting my 54 plate 4.8is X5 up for sale shortly and wondered what I should put it up for?  I was offered £3400 as a trade in and felt this was just too low to consider but also, I don't want it hanging around and I'm happy for someone to get a decent/fair deal on it.

135k miles, 11m MOT, Black with black leather. Panoramic roof, folding mirrors, heated seats, converted to springs, Very good cosmetic condition but for one scrape on the bumper (I might get this sorted out but to be honest, would rather save the hassle) generally a very good car but I have had to get a few things done during my ownership - some new suspension parts, handle carriers, heater exchange valve.  It comes with a wealth of service/repair information and 5 pre owners.
Am I being reasonable thinking somewhere around £4500 and £4800 is a decent price? Prices out there are very varied. Should it be more or less?

Thanks

To me it's a 4k car but have seen these 5-6k in classifieds.....others for more but less owners & lower mileage. A lot if traders openly sell E53's at similar mileage with proviso no warranty or comeback if they go wrong.......shame they don't sell them for cost they pay as p/x if all they want is rid & no seller reponsibility.

£4995 should see some interest but expect some idiotic & clueless calls if you advertise away from here.

Thanks, I think I'll start at  £4800 and see what happens. I'll auction it off in a few weeks if no interest.
