Plastic wheel arch cover

Post by pvr » Wed Apr 05, 2017 8:59 pm

How many times have people commented on the "scratch" on the rear door and you have had to explain that it is the edge of the protection plastic ...

Getting a little tired of it, three times last week alone.

Hi

I know what you mean I went to the local car show at which the BMW car club had a stand and I also got asked about three or four times about the long scratch on the rear doors even though I'd taken the time to clean the polish from the edge.

Maybe if I avoid polish near it there will be less residue on the edge, and so lees noticeable?

Also I guess I may get more comments as I have some lacquer coming off the top surface of the offside arch it therefore attracts people look more closely.

You need to stop cleaning the car - much harder to spot when filthy.....
