Hi

I think you will be after a company that has the Hunter 4 wheel alignment, as others have had it done and ut seems to improve the tracking and tyre wear etc.see recent posts.

Maybe a google search may show a local company to you.
Graeme.

Thanks Graeme,I have googled for the Hunter system but was hoping somebody could give a recommendation as I have heard that the system is only as good as the operator.

Through gritted teeth I'd hand the keys to the dealer
In several cars I've had numerous alignment checks and only ever been satisfied with dealer adjusted!
Allbeit not at the expense of dealer....
Annoyance like off centred steering wheel and pulling to one side is frustrating, my last E60 went back 3 times before a refund was requested & dealer corrected, F07 went into dealer and pulled straight.
Apart from unusual typical BMW tyre wear I'd be reluctant to put the X5 into.
Locally (to me) I've exhausted 4 places over the years!

Got ours done at Autotec in Port Glasgow around October.
Cant say much other than they put it on a machine to do a free check, then said it needed adjustments so put it on the Hunter system where they said the back end would have been fighting with the front as it went down the road.
They give you a before and after print out of all the various parts that can be adjusted.
It did seem smoother once adjustments had been made and the guys seem to know what they are doing.
