Hi
I tried a set of four about £30 eBay, not necessarily this company, but the lights okay but they didn't fit the light recesses.
I tried filing one plastic light down to make it fit but got bored as it was quite a bit larger than the recess and I decided not to file the door on my X5 as it would break the paint seal instead I returned them.
In the end I bit the bullet and bought the BMW ones.
They fitted without any modifications, were labelled left and right, and come with 4 interchangeable lens a BMW roundel, the M, and an X, and the letters BMW, not cheap iirc it was £60 for two but they worked and were easily fitted.part no 63312414105
I suspect the cheaper ones are a pattern part, they will work okay and the lights look good at night but you may have to spend time making them fit.
Hope that helps,
Graeme

Not quite the same but I put some led lights in the upper tailgate of one of our E53's. When the hatch is lifted they light up the whole driveway. Brilliant.
