Aftermarket Sat-Nav

Post by Simon321456 » Fri Mar 17, 2017 7:59 pm

Evening

I searched and couldn't find an existing thread

I'm looking to buy a 2012/2013 X2 20D but none of them have SatNav

How easy / costly is it to purchase whatever is the standard BMW satnav unit? If that's possible

Cheers

No official retrofit kit from BMW meaning you will have to identify and buy the parts you need.  It won't be cheap.  A Garmin will probably do a better job for the price of the map disc for a year.

BMW do a removable Nav kit.

Realoem has all the current available retrofit kits.  Copy of the current BMW parts database.

You should be able to use the following from BMW
https://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/topics/disc ... 10617.html

It's not quite the same as the original Business Navigation, but it does use your original screen and updates the menu so you select SatNav in the same way and gives you an updates sat nav controller dial with the Nav Button
