Hi dainis
I also had this problem only it was my rear diff that broke (also a 3.91) after shopping around and finding out a replacement 3.91 was possible to get the cheapest I could get was around £750 so I bought a front and rear 3.73 for £400. When I had all changed I thought I'd sell the good front 3.91 so i opened it to check gears before I'd advertise, upon opening I found that a few of the teeth are damaged. It would still work but I wouldn't guarantee it and if you are wanting a long term fix then I wouldn't advise using it but it's yours if you want it.

Regards Alan

generous offer, perhaps a good diff could be produced out of the pair. sometimes you just get lucky and different bits are bent or broken
