Standard options

Hi, i'm currently driving an e53 x5 and i'm looking to replace it with an x3 very soon.  Decided today, hopefully buying within the week (before i change my mind)

Budget is £20k.  It's looking like i'll get a 2.0 SE, 2013, < 30k miles for my money.  My question is what's the exact standard spec list?  Ideally there's some things i'd like on the car that some adverts list and others don't.  I don't know if the seller has just not listed it or if it was an option.

NAV, electric heated seats for example, ipod / iphone music, iphone hands free.

Any further buying advice gratefully received

Kind Regards

Dan

You will need to try and find a brochure for that year as whatever is listed as 'standard' can change during the year, and with the trim/engine combination.  It makes answering your question a little more of a challenge than it need be  >:(

Damn, no worries.  I guess lots of dealers will be getting a phone call tomorrow with "has it got x,y,z" etc

Thank you.

When I got mine (2014), BMW had a 1-5 rating system for their used/nearly new cars on their website, it was easier to see what spec you were getting for the money and easier to compare with other cars on sale.

They've now removed that system in the hope of making the job of savvy buyers that much harder.

Cheers.

It really is a minefield buying one.  The amount of options.  I end up finding the perfect car with everything and then it seemingly has a "standard" option missing (heated seats for example)

1st world problems, I know.

The main rule with BMW is EVERYTHING is an option.

:)  Decided I *need* a 2014 facelift one now.  That helps with the options as more appear to be standard.  Budget needs a slight increase though :(

I went for a late 2014 lack model as sat nav and heated seats were standard. The engines also changed to euro 6 so worth the initial investment imo
