Sorry just noticed the pics attached to your post but they are a bit limited. Quite interested but need to see more
Pics from all four sides
Close up of all wheels and tyres
Interior front showing each seat
Interior rear
Pic of boot interior
Pic of heated steering wheel
Pic of illuminated dash showing mileage service lights etc
Pic on engine bay

Might sound a lot but your pics are extremely limited to take a decision about travelling to view. That said, sounds line a very nice car
Can you pm them to me please?

Hi guys,

Anyone with experience selling cars via Autotrader? Is it worth a shot?
I'm not having much luck here and besides the financial knock I'd hate to see it go as part-ex or to WeBuyAnyCar.

Thanks

Hi

Yes I tried pistonheads and sold my TT a while back via that was about £60

My brother in law who's in the trade has used pistonheads, auto trader and eBay as well to sell cars successfully. I would have suggested your car to my brother in law but he's now only dealing in 3-4 year old cars.

Good photos really help sell a car as does a good detailed description as people are looking for well maintained cars. Also sometimes an advert in the car window can do the trick as well.
Good luck with your sale

I note the negative thread comments re ebay but really dont see any issue......especially if placing a decent classified adverts (avoids non showing auction winners & need to relist). IMO ebay offers buyers familiar to ebay a quick & easy way to daily search for new listings of specific cars.

Not saying the following apllies here but often sellers advertise privately to yield more cash than WBAC or P/X.

Ironically many decent cars end up going to WBAC or to P/X due to late advertising &/or a failure to price competitively.

I used ebay to sell my Range Rover the year I bought my first X5 - used an ad as AW8 said, not auction (lots of timewasters!)  Rangie was 10 years old, very good spec and I gave comprehensive details and photos and sold it easily at a decent price.  Have also bought a few cars over the years on ebay - runabouts /short term use. No issues whatsoever.  I am more wary of Gumtree.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I have listed my X5 on eBay now.

I'm wondering though if it might sell easier with all the mods/upgrades removed?
