Just purchased the above; a couple of questions

Firstly what are the actual tyres fitted, the dealer in the NW of England is being a bit vague, just saying Dunlop

Finally is the Advanced Camera Eye worth fitting

Cheers

If it is a new car they are usually A grade tyres which are the best , unfortunately they will be a bit vague as they use many different brands so maybe Goodyear , Pirelli , Bridgestone , Continental , Michelin or Dunlop which are usually SP Sport Maxx runflat or none runflat which you can specify .
The manufacturers spend a great amount of money to get BMW to pass the BMW star rating test so they have to try & keep them all sweet to keep the Premium tyres on a premium car .
Which wheel size did you specify as again this can mean using different tyres ?

Hi I have just done a bit more digging around for you , all the style of wheels for your car are on alloywheelsdirect.net just type in bmw then go to F48 , sems like the F48 has had a big offset change compared to the E84 X1 our 2011 car has 4 x 8j x 18 et30  winters on with 225/45/18 all round my wifes summer wheels are 2 x 8j x 19 , 225/40/19 fronts offset et30 rears 2 x 9j x 19 ,  255/35/19 offset et41
the newer version is running 225/50/18 all round offset et51 , 19" are 4 x 8j x 19 et47 tyres none staggered 225/45/19 .
which means if you see a cheap set of X1 wheels they wont fit as not only are the wheels 1/2" smaller front and rear on the newer model , they are 1/2" & 1 1/2" smaller on the newer model obviously the offsets are along way out aswell . The tyres seem an odd size too which may mean more expence when they need replaced ! I run winter wheels on both the X1 & X5 which makes the summer tyres last quite a bit longer as they tend to get brittle in the winter if used all year round , maybe worth twisting the dealers arm at this stage to get a good discount on them ? i have seen a set on the net from a dealer for £1250 so bargain hard !
enjoy the car , we have had our for 6 trouble free years but had the service pack on for 5 of them .
