No Entry !

Unlocked the X this morning  drivers door will not open from outside or inside handle  had to climb through from passenger side  and with my sore back ,  how to get it open to fix ?????

Thanks Ian thats a good fix with pics , maybe try that in the morning  weather permitting , 

you say you have used this before  is there something we can replace to stop it happening again

got up grabbed the keys went out to open the X to get something  and no entry , ( deep sigh ) back into the house ,  with IanPs help on post        tomorrow maybe will get into the X ,      MOT  monday 20th so my mechanic may have to deal with this problem sooner than he thought  lol

It's not technical breaking in as the window has to be down to do it..
It's happened to mine twice. Easy when you know how. It just means now you will have to remove the door panel after to get to the upper hinge inside to grease it.
I actually keep the 'alternative' key in the boot area all the time.

Got the door open  only took a minute  and its still working ok  so keeping the bit of wire in the boot  lol
the X is in for service on monday so will see if mechanic will grease the lock
