parking brake

Last year the retaining pins for the parking brake shoes pulled through the back plate on the drive side and was rattling like mad. The other day I noticed the nearside was clattering so today I got my new impact gun out (why didn't I get one years ago) whipped the wheels off and sorted that.
Then I actually set up brake how its supposed to be done and low and behold I now have a working park brake. What a revelation. It actually holds the car even in drive!
Next on my list is the mega camber of the rear wheels to fix. Then the loose steering arms to replace. The list seems endless at the moment but I'm determined to sort it all out.
If your park brake is rubbish I suggest getting it set up correctly. It's ace!
