Checking in... just picked up an 04 Estoril Blue X5 3.0d Sport for general run around, sure most have the petrol version on here and done that with a supercharged RR sport (never again!) Have had e46 M3's, e92 M3's, 1 Series 123d etc etc and always wanted an Estoril Blue BM and finally have one.
Got a good spec with Sat-Nav, Sunroof, Heated Seats etc etc
Stumbled across this site as you do and already helped as door handle seemed a bit dodgy to open so ordered door carrier to fit tomorrow.
Other than that a great car so far...

strangely it has no bluetooth so will likely replace complete sat nav unit with a pioneer job so I can also play mp3 etc

I would recommend a Dynavin, I have one and it's really good.

The Bluetooth unit isn't exactly the best thing since sliced bread especially if you have a newish phone.

Bluetooth was an expensive add on option in 2004 and may people either didn't have Bluetooth phones or didn't care about handheld use so it didn't get ticked. As said above, those years were when BMW got it badly wrong hardware wise and you are better off with a standalone system and better Nav system. The BMW version struggled with UK 7-digit postcodes for far too long (nowhere else in the world uses our system so BMW ignored it).
