hi guys I'm thinking about buying an x3 but I found out today that there's big changes to tax prices in April could anyone tell me how much it's going to be to tax a 2l x3. Thanks

The new car tax system is only for New cars bought after April 1st 2017 (and no it isn't an April Fool)

As above.  Not retrospective.  New car tax data is available on line and all you need is to know the emissions from that model.

Cars costing more than £40k have a first year charge plus an additional charge for the first 5 years.  The road tax is the same for all cars after year 1 - except for those costing £40k+ and only zero for pure electric/zero emissions vehicles.  Emit 1g of CO2 and you pay.
