Hello folks. Bought this one today. Really nice spec decent miles full history. Loads of extras such as panoramic roof (staying shut just in case!!!!) comms pack (does it play cd's???) heated seats and wheel and more stuff

It's the 3.0i model which is fine by me as it's only going to bumble up the motorway and carry the dog.i know it's not the engine choice of most but I was really impressed with it. I'm not a massive fan of diesels and I have an insane TVR for the V8 noise... And the  Mrs has now stolen my F10 from me as it's a manual and I need an auto for every day snotting around so it seems  just the job!

Im sure to be asking quite a few silly questions and 'how does this work' type stuff so please bear with me!!!!

Ahhh is that the colour??!! It says grey but sure didn't look grey to me. Beige!!! Fantastic!! My first car was a safari beige 316 (carb) e21 a long long time ago!!!

Oh Lordy.....it does look beigey grey.... picking it up Friday so will have a look at the paint code then!!

It might just be the sunset altering the colour and it really is Sterling Grey.

The colour, according to the factory build sheet. is

STERLINGGRAU METALLIC (472)

Nicely spec'd car and yes, it does play CD's. Unless someone's removed it, you should find a 6 CD changer, behind the left side panel in the boot. The changer was there when it left the factory so let's hope it's still there and it works.

You can get the chassis number from the BMW warranty site. In fact, you can put any make of cars reg plate in and it will give you the chassis number.

You then put the chassis number in to the BMW VIN decoder and, as if by magic, you get the full spec.

checked mine and according to the site I have a 6 cd system in the boot..... but I haven't unless a previous owner had the ipod connection added and the cd changer removed?
