I thînk check all the usual place the online guides and look on autotrader as to what they are up for as demand for 4x4 is always higher in the winter and yours ahas a nice spec etc.

I spotted there  is a 2011 40d at Saxton up for £26k 7 seats and with 69k miles so probably yours would need to be lower as they are a dealer with finance and warranties etc

AUC network selling cars of lesser spec for just sub £30k.    Great spec, sounds like a lovely example. GLWTS if you do sell it.  Aux heating in the 40d of this age is a rare, very desirable option - wish I had found one!

Trouble is with a car of this price, a private sale is very difficult. As most people looking at a car in this price range have a PX, and are looking for finance,  etc. At least you have a transferable BMW warranty which is in your favour.
Finding someone with 26-30 K willing to do a private sale minimises your customer base.
So you may be thrown on the mercy of a dealer PX.

I have been considering used E70 to replace my poorly E53. Sadly out of my spending power. Maybe consider getting an indy trader to advertise/sell it SOR - perhaps offering finance.

May seem messy but effectively for a comission they retail your car from theire premises & to all intents and offer finance package to fund the purchase of your car.  I accept someone else gets a slice of the sale money but sale price likely to be higher than a conventional private transaction.

Unless I cant read, can you tell me what colour it is, both inside AND out.?

great motor  any other time of year this would have sold long ago , i would like it but way above my budget , and having no towbar to me is a plus  car hasn't pulled heavy loaded trailers  so good luck
