Hi chaps. I have a audible "click" coming from the front nearside axle/ diff area. It only does it when changing from D to R. I haven't noticed any clicks or rumbling on full lock. Trying to explain the noise it's like a popping/ click sound. Very odd. It's been doing it for some time now.
Has anyone experienced a similar noise from the same area or has any ideas?

Is it like a metallic sound? Like metal pins engaging?

Hi there is it in reverse ? might be a build up of crap on your disc as what happened to me in my Hyundai Sante FE.

It does it when I shift from drive to reverse or vise versa. The noise is like metallic 'pop'. Definitely not brakes. It's either the front ns inner cv joint or the front diff.
