Well folks, thought I'd introduce myself.

Picked up a 55 plate 3.0D a couple of weeks ago in Scarborough and drove it home to Belfast. I needed a 4wd with a bit of space so took a notion for an X5 as I'd always fancied one since they came out! Ideally I would've preferred an Exclusive Edition, but this was 1 owner with 67k and 9 BM stamps so couldn't turn it down! All the spec I wanted too (xenons, digital tv, Bluetooth, pan roof etc).

Just built a house and have 2 kids under 4, so no time for any fancy photos or anything I'm afraid! This is how it's been spending most of its time recently (as per my Bluetooth and PDC posts), hopefully I can get the niggles sorted easily with the useful help on here.

Welcome to the forums. Great intro post & a pic too....more thsn adequate and gives us an idea what you have bought.

Decent factory spec Sport exclusive editions in the pre 3/06 road tax hike band are quite hard to find.

Hopefully you will enjoy your car once you get to know it & sort any niggles etc.
