Heated seats stopped working!

Hi there.
My heated comfort seats have stopped working, both of them. Anyone have any idea what may have caused it.
Where will I find the fuses for them?
Any advice would be appreciated.
PS
I've done a search for this and only advice up to a year ago was to disconnect the battery for a while which worked for a couple of members so I will try this but has anyone else found a different explanation.
It would be good to know from those members who pulled the battery if the problem has returned since.
thanks

Heated seats are front fuses 32 (5A) & 53 (25A).

In the glovebox, you need to flip down a lid towards the rear of glove box and fuses are listed

will have a look in the morning.
do fuses just blow for no reason or will it indicate a short out or something?

Fuses can fail after a while due to fatigue cracking, but usually it indicates a fault somewhere with one of the seats.
Two fuse boards on an E53. One as said is above the glovebox, the other is in the right rear cubby in the boot. There should be a printout in the front one to tell you what is what. Can't remember if there is also one for the back.

Sorry I should have said, mine is an E70 so there is a cd changer in the glovebox?

Maybe repost in the E70 forum to get more responses for your model car. E70 fuses are not easy to get to in the front at the best of times - let alone if you have a CD changer installed. Not for the faint hearted - there are You Tube videos on it. The rear ones are on the right as you face the boot, behind the removable panel. there is a list of fuses and what they are for, both front and rear, with the rear panel, unless someone has taken yours out and not replaced it.
When heated seats stop working there is usually a problem with wires in the seat shorting out somewhere or breaking - I remember from Range Rover days someone bypassing the short and ending up with a hole burning in the leather!
