Just bought my first X5 E53 after selling my old 330i touring

Bought a 3.0i sport Manual

Takes some getting used to a manual bmw though as all my others have been autos

A rare beast indeed.  Not many manual E53s out there and the vast majority are autos.  At least you won't have to worry about a gearbox failure - too common in the auto in that generation car.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As X5Sport says the manual car is rare, and should avoid the probs some have had with gearboxes.
