Thanks Guys, car is perfect. The detail job was 100%.
Such a great car and happy with my choice, no issues but only 250 miles.
It drives sedately, but put it into Spot mode and woosh. :D

Hi

I like the pics show of car since it's been detailed definitely looking good.

Do you need to do more miles before the running-in service ?

Graeme, the advice given by BMW was it is not needed for the engine, just be gentle for first 200 miles to bed in brakes and tyres

Hi

Well that is good news and progress with the quality of engines on how new cars can do this, where as a few years ago some petrol BMW had to have an initial service after 1,000 miles.

I guess you'll have a bigger smile as you've done that when you press the loud pedal.

Ps I notice the BMW colours on th grill was it a replacement grill or are they small covers ?

Graeme, I could say I spent a fortune on a new grill. The truth is I took a punt from ebay reseller in China for £6, and they fit like a dream. Everyone has commented they look good, so just the right side of being too flashy :P

It looks really nice!  Enjoy it.

I must admit that I thought about the grill mod too.

Ah, from the interior photo I can also see where the new USB location is too - neat.  In my F15 it is in the central armrest which is good for keeping devices out of sight i guess.

Indeed, I also had the radar detector and dashcam hardwired which avoids meters of USB leads. If I didn't get this done the CEO at home would have..............but as Basil Fawlty once said ' you would have to sew them back on first'

Nice looking car!

As a matter of interest there is also a second USB socket located in the armrest if you want to keep your phone in there.
